Guodong (Neil) Yang

With almost a decade in the financial services industry, Neil is an expert member of our Private Banking team. Neil services affluent and high net worth individuals and families, as well as corporations and institutions.

Previous to joining the BMO Private Banking team, Neil worked as Senior Premier Relationship Manager at a global international bank for almost 7 years. While there, in addition to managing client relationships, he provided wealth planning, lending solutions, investment management and global banking services to his firm’s clients.
 
Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Economics degree from Carleton University and Master of Arts in Economics degree from the University of Ottawa. Neil obtained the Personal Financial planner designation in 2016, Chartered investment manager Designation in 2017. He has also held the prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designation since 2018. Neil has very rich experience and knowledge in the banking, lending and wealth management fields, and always offers first class banking services to his clients, in order to help ensure they achieve their financial goals and strengthen their personal economy.  

When not at the office, Neil enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Neil loves to travel and discovery the new place and tries new things.  Neil has a passion for and practices the Chinese traditional Calligraphy for over 30 years.
