As a Private Wealth Professional at BMO Private Investment Counsel Inc., I offer professional investment management expertise and advice to help individuals and their families enjoy and simplify their wealth. I spend time getting an in-depth understanding about what a wealthy life means to every client – their priorities on family, work, lifestyle and money. Then, with a passionate, diverse team of wealth management professionals, I create a customized, flexible investment plan that I adjust regularly to external conditions and personal transitions. This approach saves people time and worry when making important decisions. They know their financial affairs are in order and remain on track to reach their goals throughout their lives – the ultimate benchmark of success. With 20 years of investment management experience, I joined BMO Private Wealth in 2001. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University and extensive industry designations that include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®).
Gobind Prihar, CFA
Associate Investment Counsellor
Gobind started with BMO Private Investment Counsel in March 2025, after spending the past seven years as a top-performing member of BMO Commercial Banking. In his current role as an Associate Investment Counsellor, Gobind is working towards full licensing as a Portfolio Manager and is supporting clients with professional investment management advice and guidance.
Gobind is a CFA Charterholder and a member of CFA Society Edmonton. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Finance from the University of Alberta including a brief stint at Copenhagen Business School.
Gobind enjoys volunteering with various charitable organizations around the city, in particular with Adaptabilities as well as the Edmonton Food Bank. Outside of work, Gobind is an avid fan of the Edmonton Oilers & Arsenal FC. When he’s not spending time with friends and family, you can often find him on the golf course or volleyball court.
Brianne Borusiewicz
Portfolio Associate
Brianne is a dedicated Portfolio Associate with a strong track record of delivering exceptional client service in the investment management field. She began her career with BMO in 2009 and quickly developed a reputation for client focus, holding various roles including in management where she learned the value of teamwork, hard work and dedication to her clients. In 2015 she moved to BMO Private Investment Counsel where she has worked with Andrew Stewart ever since. Over the years, Brianne has completed several industry-recognized certifications, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook. Brianne’s commitment to excellence has also been recognized by receiving the Private Wealth Regional Achievement Award for 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Beyond professional commitments and achievements, Brianne is also passionate about giving back to her community. She has been an avid volunteer and team captain for the BMO Walk So Kids Can Talk in support of Kids Help Phone and has walked alongside friends and family in rain, sun, and even snow in raising thousands in support of this important organization.
Outside of work, Brianne and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters. Their family enjoys an active lifestyle centered around skiing in the winter, golfing in the summer, and frequent trips to the mountains. Their daughters are both blackbelts in karate, training in the martial arts since the ages of 5. Whether is a family ski vacation, or evening on the course, family time spent outdoors is a cherished part of their busy life.
Michelle Gonzales
Portfolio Assistant
Michelle holds a Business Management Diploma from MacEwan University and began her career with BMO in 1998. Over the past 27 years, she has held a variety of roles across the bank, building a strong foundation in client service, operations, and wealth management.
Currently, Michelle serves as a Portfolio Assistant supporting Andrew Stewart, Senior Investment Counsellor, where she focuses on delivering exceptional service to our Wealth Management clients. Michelle looks to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support while working collaboratively with her team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Previously, Michelle spent four years as a Treasury and Payment Analyst in the Treasury and Payment Department, and eight years as a Private Banking Officer with the Edmonton Wealth Team. She also completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course in December 2010 to further support her professional development in the investment space.
Throughout her tenure at BMO, Michelle has been honoured with multiple awards, including Best of the Best and Platinum Awards recognizing top performance and dedication through out the years.
In addition to her professional achievements, she is actively involved in community initiatives, including fundraising for Kids Help Phone through Walk So Kids Can Talk, and supporting the local Food Bank.
Outside of work, Michelle is a proud mother of two and enjoy cheering on my children in their extracurricular activities, especially basketball. She loves to travel—whether it’s a short getaway or a longer adventure.
