This includes retirement and income planning, tax planning, cash management, business succession, estate planning, and charitable giving.

Jennifer Muscoft, CPA, CA, TEP

Jennifer works as part of a collaborative team of wealth planning professionals to assist individuals and business owners with comprehensive tax and estate planning. Drawing on her years of experience in public practice, Jennifer works closely with clients to provide guidance tailored to their specific tax and estate planning needs.

Jennifer is a CPA, CA with over 16 years of experience. Prior to joining BMO, Jennifer was a Senior Tax Manager at one of the largest international accounting firms in Edmonton where she advised a variety of clients in the areas of tax, estate, retirement and financial planning. Jennifer is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Edmonton Branch and is a member of the Edmonton Estate Planning Council.

Bryan Bachman began his career with BMO Bank of Montreal in 2004 working in various retail positions throughout the Edmonton Metro area. Prior to joining the Private Bank, Bryan was working within the BMO Commercial Banking division for several years in numerous positions including a health care lending specialist. In this role, he was actively involved in providing tailored and customized financing and cash management solutions through-out Northern Alberta for acquisitions and new startups.

Kimiko is part of the Business Advisory & Succession Planning team, which provides high net worth business owners in transition with a sophisticated, forward-thinking wealth management plan. She works with individuals and business owners in the areas of business succession, transition, sale, mergers & acquisitions, and valuations for the purposes of wealth planning and transfer. Kimiko is an experienced business advisor who brings more than 10 years of technical and business planning expertise to BMO Wealth Management.

Kimiko joined BMO Wealth Management in 2018 after more than a decade as a mid-market M&A advisor at a Big 4 professional services firm. With a focus on sell-side advisory services for private Alberta-based companies, Kimiko has worked with companies in a range of industries including oil and gas services, manufacturing, distribution and construction. Kimiko has advised on complex transactions including sales to financial and strategic buyers, management buyouts, and shareholder disputes.

Vice President, Philanthropic Advisory Services

Lydia assists affluent clients in building a philanthropic legacy by taking a strategic approach. She guides families through the unique opportunities and strategies that exist to create a legacy that is meaningful and lasting. Her estate planning and trust administration background allow her to also ensure that clients’ philanthropic goals are part of their larger wealth and estate plan. Having worked with both clients and beneficiaries of estates, Lydia’s approach to planning takes into consideration unique family dynamics and conflict resolution.

Lydia joined BMO Wealth Planning in 2011 as a Will & Estate Planning Consultant working with clients on all aspects of their estate and trust planning. She then assumed a leadership role with BMO Trust Company where she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the estate and trust administration business in Ontario. Prior to joining BMO, Lydia led a very successful philanthropy program at a major hospital foundation where she advised donors on how to build a lasting philanthropic legacy. She has contributed to numerous publications and media appearances related to her work.

Ching manages estates with various complexities and is well equipped to recognize and plan against potential issues in estate administration.

As Director of Indigenous Trust Services for Western Canada, Jamie is a collaborative team member and a creative thinker. He has a passion for building relationships with Indigenous communities and for providing superior customer service. His network extends into municipal, provincial and federal governments, professional Indigenous associations and professional resources. 

Since joining BMO in 1988, Jamie has held many positions of increasing responsibility across various roles and lines of business. The majority of his career has been in Commercial Banking and Corporate Finance. Jamie first became engaged in the Indigenous market in 2003 while on Vancouver Island.
