I am a seasoned Portfolio Manager who is passionate about providing investment management, wealth plans and exceptional client service to affluent and ultra-high net worth families. My particular focus is trust and estate planning.

I moved to Canada and started working with BMO in 2007. Through the years, I have worked in financial analysis, banking, small business, tax and estate planning, and investment counsel and collaborate closely with colleagues in Commercial Banking and Corporate Finance, Business Succession and Advisory, and Cross-border Banking to deliver tailored solutions.

My educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Financial Management Services and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. I have earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and TEP designation and I belong to the Calgary CFA Society and STEP Canada. 

A multilingual professional, I am fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. Living and working in India gave me a global, holistic perspective and helped me to understand the cultural needs and nuances of entrepreneurial Indian and Chinese families.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two grown children, hiking and playing and watching sports such as tennis. I am an enthusiastic new member of the office slow-pitch team. My husband is a chef and one of my favourite pastimes is watching him cook as we entertain friends and family.

Heather possesses over three decades of experience in the financial industry, of which twenty-four years have been spent at BMO Bank of Montreal, rendering her a valuable asset to the team. During her tenure at BMO, she has taken on several roles, starting as a customer service representative, then advancing to a Financial Services Manager. Later, she transitioned to a Personal Banker, where she has been for the past seventeen years before accepting a position at BMO Private Banking. Throughout her career, she has interacted with personal and commercial clients, catering to their lending, investments, and everyday banking needs. Heather's robust banking background has equipped her with the necessary knowledge to provide exceptional client service and assume the Portfolio Assistant role at BMO Private Banking in 2023. In this capacity, she would be the primary point of contact for day-to-day needs.

During her leisure time, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She spends her summers camping and imparting her love of nature to her grandchildren. Heather and her husband are ardent travelers, with an extensive list of destinations they've visited, and yet more places to explore. Their objective is to visit a new location every year to experience something novel. Some of their favorite adventures have taken them to Europe, Australia, and cruising around New Zealand, to name a few.
