A Transparent, Relationship Based Structure
My practice is designed to support a limited number of clients with complex financial lives who value a long term, planning led approach to wealth management.
Fees are structured to align interests, support disciplined decision making, and reflect the level of service, complexity, and ongoing responsibility involved in discretionary portfolio management.
How Fees Are Structured
Fees are generally based on a percentage of assets under management and are charged quarterly.
This structure:
- Aligns my compensation with the growth and preservation of client capital
- Allows advice and portfolio decisions to remain objective and long term focused
- Eliminates transaction based incentives or product driven recommendations
All fees are fully disclosed in advance of becoming a client and outlined clearly in documentation before any engagement begins.
What Fees Cover
Advisory fees typically reflect the full scope of the relationship, including:
- Discretionary portfolio management
- Ongoing portfolio monitoring and rebalancing
- Planning led investment decision making
- Tax aware portfolio implementation
- Regular review meetings and reporting
- Coordination with your accountant and legal advisors where appropriate
Fees may vary depending on portfolio size, account structure, and the overall complexity of a client's situation
Suitability and Minimums
My practice is generally best suited for:
- Business owners and incorporated professionals managing corporate surplus or complex structures
- Retirees and near retirees with significant investable assets and ongoing income planning needs
- Households with approximately $1 million or more in investable assets, or with comparable complexity
Clients typically value:
- A discretionary relationship rather than transaction by transaction decision making
- A disciplined, long term investment philosophy
- Integration of portfolio strategy with broader financial planning considerations
This approach may not be appropriate for investors seeking short term trading, tactical speculation, or highly transactional advice.
A Focused Practice
To ensure a high standard of service, I intentionally limit the number of households I work with. This allows for thoughtful advice, proactive communication, and consistent attention to each client’s evolving circumstances.
Not every inquiry will be the right fit—and confirming alignment at the outset is a priority for both parties.
Next Step
An introductory conversation is the best way to determine whether my approach, experience, and service structure are appropriate for your needs.
If it appears to be a mutual fit, fee details and next steps will be discussed clearly and transparently before proceeding.
