Melanie helps clients navigate complex estate and trust planning and philanthropy issues. Drawing on her legal experience, clients benefit from a depth of insight and unique foresight into a diverse range of situations, both those that were planned and all unforeseen consequences and events.
Melanie joined BMO Trust Company in 2016. Prior to this role she was a partner and lawyer with one of Canada’s largest law firms. Melanie has over 22 years of experience with a wide variety of estate, trust, corporate and tax issues, including estate and trust planning, administration and litigation. Melanie regularly assists families and business owners with cross-border and international planning and philanthropy issues.
