Ieen is a dedicated Senior Private Banker providing the highest level of services to successful and affluent individuals and families. With her long standing, established, financial services knowledge and experience, Ieen assists her clients in a number of key banking areas: tailoring services to meet individual client requirements, taking initiative to sustain personal contact, customized lending, business financing for professionals, U.S. banking connections in various States through BMO Private Bank in the U.S. and above all, maintaining discretion. Ieen is an advocate within the BMO Financial Group of Companies and have expertise in knowing which options are best suited for her clients. She is known to be flexible, innovative, responsive and consistent.

Ieen joined BMO Financial Group in November 1988 and has been with BMO Private Banking since March 2010. She has worked in various areas of the bank, the last as a Branch Manager for 8 years managing various complex branches prior to joining the team of specialists in BMO Private Banking. As a Senior Private Banker, Ieen manages a portfolio of high net worth Canadian families. Ieen’s expertise ranges from everyday finance to much more complex banking solutions, with a focus on building trust and offering her clients the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Rebecca is passionate about helping people become more knowledgeable and confident about their finances. She enjoys providing clients with clarity and direction on their financial road forward, by integrating the knowledge of our in-house technical specialists into a simple and straightforward plan. Clients benefit from a tailored wealth plan, often resulting in reduced stress and anxiety knowing that a team of professionals is helping them meet their financial goals. 

Rebecca joined BMO Wealth Management in November 2017. Prior to that she spent 7 years working in public accounting, encompassing the areas of personal and corporate taxation, corporate restructuring, financial mediation and divorce finances, tax and wealth planning. Additionally she has spent time in the manufacturing and service sectors in finance roles, and started her career with a ‘big 4’ accounting firm.

Andy Guidi

Andy Guidi, CPA, CA

Director, Tax Planning

Andy is a dedicated professional helping people preserve and grow their wealth. With an expertise in Canadian income tax, Andy assists clients on business structures, succession and estate planning, owner- manager remuneration, corporate reorganizations, the appropriate use of trusts and holding companies, asset divestitures, business split-ups and a variety of other tax planning strategies.

Drawing on public practice experience, he offers a depth of practical insight, as well as the unique ability to translate complex tax concepts into efficient strategies clients can easily comprehend.

Andy joined BMO Wealth Management in 2014, after filling progressively senior management roles in the domestic tax practice of Grant Thornton LLP, where he developed and implemented tax planning strategies for business owners and high net worth individuals.

Dante advises high net worth business owners and families on specialized Tax & Estate solutions aimed at maximizing their wealth, as part of an integrated wealth planning team. Drawing on a decade of tax accounting experience, his clients benefit from a depth of informed insight and the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable strategies. Specializing in Canadian corporations and entrepreneurs, Dante offers guidance on tax structuring, estate planning, exit strategies and tax-efficient wealth transfer, creating tailored solutions for a diverse group of clients.

Dante joined BMO Wealth Management in 2015 from global professional services firm Deloitte LLP, where he worked for 10 years in progressively senior roles, managing and executing detailed reviews of complex corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax compliance and planning engagements.

Elizabeth Creates

Elizabeth Creates, LL.B

Director, Estate Planning

Elizabeth provides estate planning guidance to high and ultra high net worth individuals, families and business owners in the context of their personal wealth and business succession planning.  Her background as an estates lawyer and over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry allow Elizabeth to facilitate wealth transfer decision-making for clients and assist them with action planning regarding their legacy goals (financial and non-financial).  Her modern approach focuses on the well-being and personal empowerment of clients by bringing them peace of mind and encouraging the pursuit of personal fulfillment.

She works collaboratively with internal and external advisors in order to ensure that all aspects of a client’s wealth plan support their estate planning, succession and legacy goals. She has LL.B. and B.Comm. degrees from McGill University and is a member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

James Wong

James Wong, CPA, CBV, M.Comm.

Vice President, Business Owner Planning

James brings over 20 years of experience working directly with business families in developing their business and wealth transition. He shares his knowledge and experience in this area in a co-authored book, “The Transition Experience – What every Canadian family business owner should know beyond succession planning”.

Central to his approach is exploring with family and family members, the impact and responsibility that comes with “trans-generational” wealth, and ultimately developing goals and governance associated with the stewardship of wealth. 

James started his career practicing tax, business valuation and corporate insolvency in a national accounting firm. He joined BMO in 2000 to develop and lead a then new initiative, business succession planning. His experience in business transition planning underpins his wider work with families in developing their wealth legacy. He meets with multiple generations of each family as part of his work to develop lasting stewardship of wealth. Educating younger generations on financial fluency is part of his legacy planning work.
