Elizabeth Petticrew

Senior Portfolio Manager & Senior Wealth Advisor

Elizabeth Petticrew is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Advisor at the BMO Nesbitt Burns Vancouver Skyline Branch. Specializing in individual and corporate portfolio management, Elizabeth is the lead portfolio manager on her team of seven people. In her past life, Elizabeth was a marine geophysicist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University.

 

Since entering the investment business in 1988, Elizabeth has been an active participant in education and supporting community initiatives. She has held the position of co-president of the Western Businesswomen’s Association, has been a participant in the YWCA mentorship program, and has sat on the Ethics Committee of Women’s Hospital. Elizabeth has been an Investment Dealers Association sponsored night school instructor in the areas of financial planning and investing and has conducted educational seminars for the UBC Law Society, the Women’s Hospital, B.C.I.T, S.F.U., local companies, associations, and investment clubs. Elizabeth was also nominated for the prestigious YWCA Women of Distinction Award. In 2015, Elizabeth became one of the founding contributors to the SheEO's year of radical giving campaign and in 2016 she became a full member of the Women Presidents Organization.

 

Elizabeth enjoys and appreciates the opportunities Canada has afforded her. Born in Calcutta, India, she emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1980. Since settling in Vancouver and starting a family, Elizabeth has become an avid sailor and skier, enjoys traveling and volunteering with her family.
