Do you know your Credit Score?

Do you know if it is good or bad? It’s important.

We all have a Credit Score. It’s a number between 300 and 900 that reflects how much we can be trusted to pay back money owed to banks, stores, landlords, or credit card companies. Higher is better, and your score is based on factors like payment history, debt levels, and length of your credit history. You can check your score using a service like Equifax.

Your credit score matters because it impacts your ability to get a loan, rent an apartment, or even land a job. Many lenders, landlords, and even employers use your credit score to evaluate your trustworthiness. A higher score also means lower interest rates on loans, which saves you money and lowers your monthly payments.

Couple of ways to improve your credit score:

Always pay your bills in full, on time

Try and keep debt level as low as possible, especially credit cards

It may take a little while to see your Credit Score improve, but stick with it!
