As an Investment Counsellor with BMO Private Banking, he provides fully customized discretionary investment management to private clients, their families, and their corporations. He is accountable for developing and implementing portfolio strategies that accurately reflect each client’s objectives, risk profile, and long-term financial priorities.
A Halifax native, Ariz has held roles in Toronto and Vancouver before returning to his home province in 2003. He now resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with his wife Margaret and their three children. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys playing tennis and golf when time allows.
Experience & Background
Ariz began his career at PwC Corporate Finance in Toronto before transitioning to investment management. Prior to joining BMO, he held progressively senior positions at RBC PH&N Investment Counsel and IceCap Asset Management — both well‑established providers of discretionary wealth management services.
